In-Service Inspection
Inspection activities are divided into the following groups based on their goals and location:
Technical inspection after installation
The inspections and tests that are performed after installing the device on the equipment include the following activities:
A- Pre-commissioning technical inspection
This inspection was done after the completion of the installation operation and before the start-up of the equipment, and the purpose of doing it is to ensure that the equipment is healthy, as well as their correct installation and proper operation in accordance with the relevant plans.
B- periodic maintenance technical inspection
This type of inspection is performed periodically with specific time periods (usually one or two years) and generally during major repairs of the facilities on the installed equipment, and the purpose of doing it is to ensure the reliable and safe operation of the equipment.
C- Periodic technical inspection during operation
This type of inspection is also done periodically and with short periods of time (monthly and even daily) and in the conditions when the equipment is being used.
